Oh geez...

So I consider myself active, young, agile, etc... but boy was I proved wrong! Paisley and I were coming home from Queen Creek and between my carsickness and her mood - we needed a break. So we found a McDonald's for her to satisfy her need to play and for me to satisfy my crazy prego-cravings for $1 Double Cheeseburgers with no pickles. All was going well until she moved from the toddler play area and climbed to the top of the giant Playplace along with about a dozen 8 and 9 year-olds. She was doing fine but I worried she would go down the slide and be tramatized for life since she has never really gone a slide bigger than 3 feet. I tried to get the kiddos to help her back down the stairs but she wouldn't budge. SO I go in after her!

Oh my heck - have you ever tried to climb up one of those things? I managed the stairstack fairly well but then I met this obstacle of over and unders that just about did me in. As soon as Paisley saw me coming, she laughed and bolted down another corrider of twists and turns that I had to manuver along with going around half a dozen children too engaged in their game of hide-and-seek to worry about moving out of the way of the pregnant lady. I finally get Paisley and head for the slide. After being pushed out of line twice - we head down... the only problem being that my feet get stuck under me so I am basically going down head first with Paisley in tow (who was not scared in the least and would have been fine going down alone). We make it out of the deathtrap and five minutes later I am still sweating and out of breath - let's just say the score is - McDonald's Playplace:1 Cyndi:0.

P.S. When we pulled in and I said "Look Paisley - Mcdonald's" She said "E-I-E-I-O" - you know...like the Old McDonald... with the farm... get it? It was cute! She's cute and smart and I love her... to death!

Same exact thing happened when I was pregnant with Aden. Anali was trapped at the top of the playland, crying. To make matters worse I was babysitting a 9 month and 4 year old. Not to mention that I am a bit larger than you, lets just say that after I made it down, I ran to throw-up and I am not sure we have ever been back. Oh the joys of pregnancy and keeping up with a toddler!!!

Haha... sorry you had to dive in there after her! What a funny memory though!
So cute about the EIEIO... Luke calls McDonalds "Old Mcdonalds". I wonder if all kids think the burger joint is somehow related to the song. Haha.
Also... I like your previous post too! I loved Pres. Monson's talk. In fact, I just used that same quote :)
