You don't gnome me...

Had our first Halloween costume event - went to a family party with our friends (always grateful when people adopt us into their family functions). The girls had a great time and it was fun to see them in their costumes... even if they only left their hats on for a few minutes. They were not in the mood for pictures so I am hoping I can get some better ones - but you get the idea.

The Toadstool:

The Garden Gnome:

At the party - Paisley loved the entertainment. She went down this slide about 50 times and enjoyed popping the smoke-filled bubbles!

Cosette loved the food - She filled up on enough cheesy potatoes that she slept all night when we got home... yeah!

I didn't get a picture of all us but to go along with the "forest-friends theme" - Blake was a tree and I was a tree-hugger!

I love Halloween - so fun to be something new for a day!

Well i must say that i am a little disappointed that Blake was not an Ent by the name of Treebeard but i must admit that those are cute and clever costumes. And you would have made a great forest elf. One of these Halloweens i expect the family to do homage to JRR Tolkien.

Love to see the costumes on the girls...looks like a fun time was had by all! We were pretty darn low key, just hung out trying to get Jett to sleep (he has been better on soy, but still has some issues)!

I love their costumes! Did you make them? They are so cute. I remember you liking Gnomes during college. One day I will put a gnome in my garden in memory of you. :-)
