DIY

Trying to re-decorate some rooms in the house without spending a whole lot of $$$.

Our master bedroom resembled a college dorm so we repainted it, replaced the nasty mauve ceiling fan, and are slowly updating the furnishings.

Rescued the world's ugliest and biggest headboard out of a dumpster - cut it down, painted, and mod-podged scrapbook paper to make it look like this. Now the hard task of motivating the hubby to hang it...

Started sanding and painting the old dressers that were handed down from Blake's room when we got married - got the little one done...

Lots of little projects to make the girls room less baby and more kiddish... it all started because I got the best deal ever on craigslist for the bunkbed.

My office has basically looked like this for the past two months. I just decided to embrace the mess and realize that it is the only way I can scrapbook, craft, and sew. My projects don't turn out perfect because usually Paisley is sitting on my lap cutting and pasting and Cosette is trying to eat the paper - but at least it calms my need to create.

There are so many on-line craft ideas that my 'I want to make this' list is way out of control.

CUTE! Your DIY stuff turned out awesome!

Kuddos to you for actually showing a picture of your "creating room" (the office!) Mine looks TONS crazier but I somehow feel better now knowing I'm not the only one with things not where they are suppose to be! :)

I can't do crafts without making a mess either. The dresser is my favorite, I love the way you painted the top of it. :) It all looks great!

Wow you have been busy. Everything looks so good. Don't worry, my house looks like that too when I am crafting. It is not messy when you are creating. It is always a pain to put it away and pull it out the next day.
