Monday Moms!

"Mary lived a pure life, a life so pure that the Holy Ghost could come upon her. She had faith that 'with God nothing shall be impossible' (Luke 1:37). She was willing to live her life according to God’s plan. For these reasons she was able to be the mother of the Son of God, the mother of our Savior and Redeemer. Surely she is blessed, and through her we have all been blessed." -Sheryl Kempton

I see it fitting to honor Mary the mother of Christ for Monday Moms this week. We do not know a lot about Mary, but what we do know is that she was a highly favored spirit. The responsibility that she bore in bearing and raising the son of God is uncomprehending. We can learn a great deal from Mary and her example of faith, obedience, and devotion to God. May we focus more on the manger and less on the material this Christmas week.

Thank you for that. It got me thinking about how blessed Mary was, and not only Mary but all of us who get the very trustworthy role to mother children. Thanks for sharing.
